Early life and Education
Joli Altshule was born to parents Lynette and Derek Brown, who served on several boards and committees at the Jewish Federation.
She has a B.A. from UCLA in Political Science.
Early Career
Joli worked as a financial analyst in Equity Capital Markets at CIBC World Markets for two years and went on to work for Deutsche Bank in the Healthcare Investment Banking and Equity Capital Markets divisions for six years.
Road to success
Joli joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. in 2011 and today is the Vice President of its Investment Management Division.
Philanthropy
Joli is the national co-chair of the Joshua Society, a community of Jewish philanthropists that’s part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. She is an alumnus of the National Young Leadership Cabinet of The Jewish Federations of North America and was formerly on the Executive Board of the Leadership Training Initiative for the Los Angeles division of AIPAC.
In 2014, she received the Young Women’s Leadership Award from The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
Projects and organizations Joli supports
Joli was brought up in a family that was very involved in the Jewish Federation. She met her husband, Andrew Green, at a Federation event, and together chaired a young leadership mission to Poland and Israel in 2010.
Joli has served as SWWP Brentwood Country Club Outreach Chair and Co-Chair of our Federation’s Finance & Business Professionals Network. She also served on the Wilshire Boulevard Temple Investment Committee and the Brawerman Elementary School Endowment Committee and Endowment Investment Committee.
